Driver Of Suspected Stolen BMW Flees After Colliding With School Bus

Spokane Valley, WA (November 22, 2021) – The driver of a suspected stolen BMW car has reportedly fled a crash scene after being involved in a collision with a school bus.

The collision in the Otis Orchards area of Spokane Valley on Monday morning involved an East Valley School District bus.

The school bus then flipped over on its side after the crash with the driver inside.

There were no kids inside the bus at the time of the crash.

The bus driver was on his way back after dropping off kids when the accident happened following a collision with a BMW near N Kenney Rd. and E Wellesley Ave.

The BMW driver fled the scene on foot.

The school bus driver was then rushed to the hospital for an evaluation, Spokane County Sheriff’s Corporal Mark Gregory said.

The intersection of N Kenney Rd. and E Wellesley Ave. is expected to be closed for hours to enable the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the scene.
