Bellevue, WA (December 10, 2021)- On Friday afternoon, a man was crossing the street in Bellevue when he was hit and seriously injured. The victim has been identified as an older man.
Traffic investigators responded around 1:30 pm and attended to a severe vehicle-pedestrian collision east of downtown Bellevue along 156th Avenue NE and NE 20th Street.
Police reported that an older man was crossing the street when a vehicle hit him.
Officers ask the driver, who showed no impairment, and continue their investigation.
Police have asked drivers to avoid 156th Avenue NE and Northup Way.
An elderly male was in the crosswalk when he was hit. The driver is on scene & talking with investigators. There is no sign of impairment.
