Kent, WA (October 30, 2021) –Police in Kent, Washington, said a man was struck and killed by a car while crossing the street during their early-morning hours on Saturday.
Police said the 51-year-old man was in a marked crosswalk at Central Avenue North and South 228th Street during the incident.
The police believe that the man was in a pedestrian zone when he was hit by a car.
Witnesses say it appeared that the vehicle might have run a light.
Officers found a car a short distance away, but they have not released information on the suspect driver.
