Suspected Drunk Driver Escapes Death In Franklin County Crash

Franklin County, WA (May 23, 2021) – A suspected drunk driver escaped death Saturday night following a crash in Franklin County over the weekend.

Officials said that the driver lost control of his truck and crashed into a concrete barrier on Snake River Bridge.

The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the bridge which connects Pasco to Burbank.

The truck driver was not hurt in the crash, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officials said that Washington State Patrol responded to the crash to conduct a DUI investigation.
