Seattle, WA (July 15, 2022) – A cement truck spilled some of its load when it rolled over on northbound Interstate 5 just north of State Route 520 in Seattle on Friday morning.
There was no other vehicle involved in the crash nor were there any injuries, Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said.
The collision blocked multiple lanes of the affected highway while cars were passing on the left shoulder.
Road users were advised to seek alternate routes as cleanup and recovery operations would be lengthy.
All the affected lanes were later opened after officials cleared the roadway.
