The Washington State Patrol said the 17-year-old driver from Mattawa failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guardrail.
The injured, including three children, were rushed to hospital.
The children were aged 7, 9, and 15. They were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The driver was eastbound on I-182 to southbound SR 397 at 12:28 a.m. Thursday when the crash occurred.
