Deception Pass, WA (July 29, 2022) – A box truck crashed in Skagit County on Friday.
The rollover occurred on State Route 20, just one mile from Deception Pass.
The truck rolled over on the shoulder of the highway.
There were no injuries, and the collision appeared to have been caused by a mechanical issue, Washington State Patrol Trooper Jacob Kenneth said.
There was no ETA for removal and units were working on getting a tow truck to clear the collision.
Kenneth said once a tow arrives, the entire roadway would likely need to be blocked for removal of the box truck.
There was a serious traffic backup from the incident.
Units are working on getting a tow truck as we speak. Once a tow arrives it will be likely the entire roadway will need to be blocked for removal of the box truck. There is already a serious traffic back up from this incident. pic.twitter.com/GmhBGEggao
