Spokane, WA (December 26, 2021)- After sustaining injuries in a Spokane hit and run on Christmas morning, a driver was rushed to hospital.
The injured driver is 65-year-old David Weir, of Valleyford.
Weir was taken to MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley following injuries from the crash.
Weir was driving east in his 2000 Chevy Blazer on Sprague Avenue when another driver heading north in a 2008 Subaru Outback on Pines Road struck him, Washington State Patrol said.
The Subaru driver was said to have failed to stop at a red light.
WSP spokesperson trooper Ryan Senger said the driver and a female passenger immediately fled the scene.
They had not been located as at press time.
