Bellingham, WA (June 9, 2022)- Four Bellingham residents were injured following multiple collisions in front of The Rhody Cafe in Skagit County Wednesday evening.
One Bellingham woman was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle while the three others were hospitalized after the crash, which involved three vehicles.
The woman suffered injuries when a vehicle she was traveling in was struck at the intersection of Chuckanut Drive and Bow Hill Road for failure to yield the right of way, Washington State Patrol said.
The crash impacted traffic in the area for close to three hours, Trooper Jacob Kennett said.
One other person involved in the crash did not sustain injuries.
All the five people involved in the collision were wearing seatbelts, WSP said.
