Lynnwood, WA (November 5, 2021) – An accident in Lynnwood has left one person with life-threatening injuries, Washington State Patrol said.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. Friday on SR 99 and 148th near Lynnwood.
The driver who caused the accident was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, WSP said.
The driver was on SR 99 before leaving the road. The driver then hit a utility pole afterward and an occupied vehicle at a parking lot.
The two right lanes of southbound SR 99 were closed as a result of the crash.
It is not clear at press time if other people also sustained injuries in the crash.
