Jackson County, WI (December 23, 2021)- Around 40 vehicles were damaged in a traffic accident that occurred on I-94 on the morning of December 23rd in Jackson County, Wisconsin.
The I-94 corridor from Menomonie to Black River Falls, WI, experienced a period of icy road conditions due to freezing rain.
When emergency crews arrived, they reported a semi in the median on fire with two cars underneath. Several secondary crashes and run-offs occurred in the area.
As it turns out, no one was injured in this crash. Passengers involved were shuttled to another area safe zone, and both eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway were closed down.
