Bellingham, WA (November 3, 2021) – One person has died in a crash that occurred in Bellingham late Tuesday night.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on I-5 south near Iowa St., Washington State Trooper Rocky Oliphant said.
The crash involved multiple vehicles, but the number of those affected was not immediately known.
After the collision, a pedestrian left their car and was hit by another vehicle.
I-5 was entirely blocked while crews cleared the scene of the crash. The road was later reopened around 2 a.m.
The identity of the deceased accident victim is not yet known.
