Seattle, WA (July 9, 2022) – A crash in Seattle blocked two lanes each of the northbound and southbound lanes of Ballard Bridge on Friday morning.
Four vehicles collided on the bridge at 7:13 a.m. and caused a traffic jam in the affected lanes, said Sgt. Patrick Michaud, of the Seattle Police Department.
Officials urged road users to expect delays and recommended using alternate routes.
Michaud said the lanes had since been opened up to normal traffic.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known, and there was no official report about casualties at press time.
UPDATE: At 7:13 a.m., four vehicles got into a collision on the bridge causing a traffic jam on its two northbound and two southbound lanes, said Sgt. Patrick Michaud with the Seattle Police Department.
