Seattle, WA (January 27, 2022)- On Thursday, a semi-truck crashed into scaffolding at a building under construction in Seattle.
The incident happened near Fifth Avenue and Marion Street at 9:19 a.m.
Crews searched the building but found nobody inside.
An adjacent building was evacuated as a precaution while a safety perimeter was set up, the Seattle Fire Department said.
Tow trucks were expected to remove the semi and trailer while some Seattle Fire officials would remain at the scene to monitor the scaffolding.
There were no injuries reported in the crash.
The crash led to the closure of lanes at the crash site, as drivers were advised to avoid the area.
