Darrington, WA (February 2, 2022)- There were serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision on State Route 530 in Snohomish County around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Washington State Patrol said.
The collision involved a semi-truck and a car.
State Route 530 was entirely blocked near Darrington due to the accident, and troopers worked to open a lane.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area for an extended period of time while the Washington State Department of Transportation assists with traffic control.
No detour was in place at the time of filing this report.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
