Spokane, WA (January 13, 2022)- A woman died at the scene of an accident west of Spokane on Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 7 a.m.
The woman was driving a 2003 Saturn Ion when she crossed over the centerline of N. Wood and struck a Chevrolet truck head-on.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Spokane County deputies said that she was not wearing a seatbelt when the incident occurred.
The Chevrolet driver had no severe injuries.
N. Wood is still closed down as investigators look into the cause of the crash.
The deceased woman’s identity is still unknown until law enforcement officials release further details.
