Moses Lake, WA (May 27, 2022)- Two people were hurt following a multiple vehicle collision in Moses Lake Thursday evening.
The crash involved six vehicles, Washington State Patrol said.
The crash occurred when 36-year-old Mario Uribe, of Moses Lake, who was driving a 2012 Ford F-350 truck northbound on Highway 17, ran the red light at the intersection of the highway and Wheeler Road before hitting a 1998 Honda Accord.
This caused the Accord to hit a Ford F-150 pickup, which was driven by 34-year-old Leslie Foster, of Moses Lake.
The pickup then hit another vehicle.
Uribe, who was pulling a trailer, failed to stop and then hit another vehicle, a 2016 Subaru driven by 41-year-old Benjamin Dyer, of Moses Lake.
A sixth vehicle was hit by debris from the crash.
Foster and Dyer were rushed to Samaritan Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Uribe faces charges for first-degree negligent driving, WSP said.
