Spokane, WA (May 27, 2022) – A stolen vehicle caught fire on Interstate 90 in Spokane on Friday, Washington State Patrol said.
The incident occurred on westbound I-90 near Altamont Street and blocked two left lanes of the highway.
The vehicle fled from a trooper on Sprague and entered I-90 before it caught fire, WSP said.

The driver fled from the vehicle and troopers are searching for the suspect, troopers said.
The roadway was later cleared.
