Douglas County, WA (July 4, 2022)- Washington State Patrol said a collision near Downing killed a Brewster man Monday morning.
The crash occurred on State Route 173 when 29-year-old Alejandro Rincon, driving southbound on the highway, failed to negotiate a turn, WSP said.
Rincon’s car was later hit by another car.
Troopers said Rincon died in the crash, but the other driver was unhurt.
The crash blocked the highway for over four hours before it was reopened.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, and there are no charges yet.
