GRANT COUNTY, Wash., Aug. 17, 2022 — A driver was hospitalized following a collision in Wenatchee on Tuesday, Washington State Patrol Trooper Jeremy Weber said.
The “serious injury collision” occurred on northbound State Route 243 near Milepost 14.
The driver was traveling northbound on the affected highway when the incident happened.
Weber said that the driver drove through the roundabout, crossed the southbound lane, and went off the west shoulder.
The driver was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but it is unclear if any charges are pending against him.
The roadway was not blocked following the crash.
