SeaTac, WA (July 14, 2022)- Four people were injured following a multiple vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in Seattle on Thursday night, Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, which blocked multiple southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near 188th Street.
One driver was taken into custody for investigation of driving under the influence, while another driver was being investigated for vehicular assault due to a passenger injury, Johnson said.
Johnson said that three drivers sustained injuries in the crash apart from the one in custody, while a passenger had a hand injury and a broken hip.
Detectives are carrying out further investigations into the cause of the crash.
