Crash on I-5 Killed One Person

Milton, WA (January 11, 2022)- The Washington State Patrol has announced that a fatal crash occurred early Tuesday morning on I-5 just north of Milton, Washington.

The fatal accident happened about 3:45 am in the southbound lanes on I-5 near 70th Avenue East and Porter Way.

Troopers told the local media that a car left the roadway, crashed into a tree, and caught fire.

The driver who died at the scene was the only person in the car.
