Driver Killed In Federal Way Multi-Vehicle Crash

Federal Way, WA (March 21, 2022)- On Sunday, a driver was killed, and others were injured following a multiple vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 5.

The crash, which involved three cars, occurred near 304th Street in Federal Way.

One driver hit the side of a vehicle, causing the second vehicle to strike a third car, Washington State Patrol trooper Rick Johnson said.

The driver of the first vehicle died at the scene after being ejected.

The occupants of the other two cars suffered minor injuries, Johnson said.

The crash blocked one lane of northbound I-5 as the investigation continued.
