Kennewick Driver Faces Charges For Injuring Pasco Man

Kennewick, WA (March 16, 2022)- After Tuesday, a Kennewick driver faces negligent driving second-degree charges for injuring a man in Pasco after midnight.

Washington State Patrol attributed the crash to speed.

The crash occurred on State Route 395.

Jorge Friedrich, 25, of Kennewick, was traveling south on SR 395 at Milepost 38 north of Pasco when he struck a car driven by 27-year-old Dagoberto Siempre of Pasco.

Siempre was rushed to Lourdes Medical Center following his injuries.

The two vehicles were headed in the same direction, and both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, WSP said.

No drugs or alcohol was reportedly involved.
