Midland, WA (January 16, 2022)- On Saturday, a hit-and-run driver killed a 12-year-old girl and seriously injured the other after hitting the two in Midland.
The other girl was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The two pedestrians were hit by a white flatbed pickup on 104th Street East and 25th Avenue East around 10:30 a.m.
The vehicle has been found while the driver is being identified, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said.
The intersection is shut down as the investigation continues.
