Motorcyclist Charged In SR 16 Collision

Tacoma, WA (June 25, 2022) – A motorcyclist was charged with reckless driving following a crash on State Route 16 in Tacoma, Washington State Patrol Trooper Robert Reyer said.

The crash, which involved a motorcycle and a car, occurred on westbound State Route 16 to Union Avenue on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with serious but no life-threatening injuries, and has been charged with reckless driving, Reyer said.

The collision fully blocked the ramp on the affected highway.
