Motorcyclist Hits Car And Fell Off I-90 Bridge

Seattle, WA (October 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist, apparently dead after hitting a car driving on the Interstate 90 bridge that spans Lake Washington in Seattle, fell into the water below.

According to The Seattle Times, rescue teams in Seattle called off their search at around 2 a.m. this Saturday.

The crash occurred on Friday at 11:30 p.m. State Patrol spokesman Trooper Rick Johnson said the motorcyclist was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic while traveling eastbound on I-90 through the Mount Baker tunnel.

The motorcyclist driving on the floating bridge struck a Toyota driving in the right lane, then lost control and went off the bridge into the water below.

According to witnesses, one person was inside of the Toyota, but they were not injured.

Authorities are unsure of the identity of the missing motorcyclist’s.
