Tacoma, WA (July 2, 2022) – On Saturday morning, officials cleared a collision on southbound State Route 7 at Milepost 52.36 near 112th Street South in Tacoma.
The collision occurred at 4:22 a.m. Saturday.
The collision entirely blocked northbound State Route 7, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.
Updated: Collision on SR 7 SB at MP 52.36 near 112th St S beginning at 4:22 am on July 2, 2022 until further notice. NB Sr-7 is fully blocked. The left turn lane to 112th form SB SR-7 is blocked and access to SB Sr-7 form 112th is blocked.

The collision also blocked the left turn lane to 112th Street South from southbound State Route 7 and access to southbound State Route 7 from 112th Street South, WSDOT said.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, and there were no details about casualties as of the time of filing this report.
