One Dead, Another Injured In Seattle Pedestrian Accident

Seattle, WA (October 25, 2021) – A 38-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident while a teenager was hurt.

The crash occurred early morning at 8000 block of Corliss Avenue North, near Green Lake.

A witness stated that the driver took off, running eastbound on North 80th street without stopping.

After the crash, Seattle firefighters rushed to the scene just a few minutes before 2 a.m.

Crews found the 38-year-old dead on arrival, Seattle Fire Department spokesman David Cuerpo said.

The injured person, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to Harborview Medical Center. He was reportedly in stable condition.

A witness said that the driver of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck hit two pedestrians.

A team of experts from SPD’s Traffic Collision Investigations Squad is currently investigating a traffic collision.
