One Dies In Spanaway Collision

Spanaway, WA (June 24, 2022)- One person died after a vehicle crashed into a guardrail in Spanaway Friday morning.

The crash occurred around 1 a.m. at the Roy Y between State Route 7 and State Route 507. 

Three persons were entrapped in the vehicle, but one died, Washington State Patrol Trooper Robert Reyer said.

It is unclear if there were other casualties.

Pierce County Sheriff and EMS were on scene, Reyer said.

An investigation had commenced into the cause of the crash.
