Tacoma, WA (November 28, 2021) – One person has died following a fatal hit and run in Tacoma on Sunday morning.
The collision involved a pedestrian around 5:45 a.m. at East 44th St. and Portland Ave.
Police arrived immediately and saw an 18-year-old man dead at the scene.
The 32-year-old male driver was then arrested and booked into the Pierce County jail for vehicular homicide and felony hit and run alongside other charges.
Tacoma police collision investigation team and crime scene technicians are continuing the investigation into the crash.
