Richland Hit-and-run Driver Injures Two

Richland, WA (November 1, 2021) –A hit-and-run driver has injured a woman and a child in Richland.

The crash occurred at 6:20 p.m. Sunday when a white car hit a Hyundai Elantra, the Washington State Patrol said.

The two vehicles were heading west on the Highway 240 bypass near Duportail Street when the incident occurred.

The impact forced the Elantra into a concrete barrier before it flipped and hit a Chevy Cobalt.
The white car then fled the scene.

The Elantra’s driver, 22-year-old Gloria Delangel of Kennewick, and the 6-year-old boy in her car were rushed to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, but their conditions were not immediately known.

The Cobalt’s driver, 45-year-old Shane Allen, and the 41-year-old passenger Marissa Allen, from Richland, were not hurt.

Investigators are looking for the driver of the white car.
