Seattle, WA (January 25, 2022)- A hit-and-run driver injured two pedestrians on 4th Avenue South and South Jackson Street located in the International District before 8 a.m. on Monday.
The driver struck two pedestrians, including a man and a 10-year-old boy, while crossing the road.
The driver narrowly missed the boy’s mother, Sierra Waff, who was also crossing with the boy.
The driver immediately left the scene.
Medics arrived at the scene and took the man and the boy to the hospital in stable condition following non-life-threatening injuries they sustained from the crash.
The two victims are currently recovering, reports said.
The collision led to the closure of South Jackson Street for less than an hour to allow crews to work at the scene, but the lane has since been reopened.
Investigation into the crash is underway.
