Rochester, WA (June 22, 2022) – A motorcyclist died Wednesday morning after striking a horse in the 10700 block of State Route 12 near Rochester, Washington State Patrol said.
The horse also died in the crash.
The collision occurred at about 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old Oakville man struck a horse standing on State Route 12 as he headed east on the highway.
The crash blocked the affected roadway.
An investigation commenced, Trooper Robert Reyer said.
Reyer expressed his condolences to all those affected by the crash.
