SR 161 Reopens After Milton Crash

Burlington, WA (June 14, 2022)- All the northbound and southbound lanes of State Route 161 at 28th Avenue South reopened Tuesday morning following a crash in Milton.

The crash involved a car and a motorcycle.

The collision blocked the highway and alternated northbound and southbound traffic in a single lane, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.

Crews later cleared the roadway.

Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, the Washington State Patrol, and the Incident Response Team were on the scene, WSDOT said.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
