Tacoma Apartment Building Fire Injures Two, Displaces 13 Others

Tacoma, WA (January 29, 2021)- A fire broke out at an apartment building on North Pearl Street in Tacoma Saturday morning, injuring two people and displacing 13 others. 

Crews saw flames and smoke on the second floor of the three-story building when they arrived at the scene in the 1200 block of North Pearl Street around 3 a.m. 

The fire finally spread to the third floor before crews brought it under control.

The fire destroyed three apartment units, displacing 13 people from their homes.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
