Troopers Arrest Driver On DUI Suspicion After Kirkland Crash

Kirkland, WA (April 25, 2022)- Troopers arrested a pickup driver on suspected DUI following a collision on southbound Interstate 405 near 85th Street in Kirkland, Washington State Patrol said.

The crash, which occurred Sunday morning, involved the pickup and an SUV.

The pickup struck the SUV from behind and caused it to spin out before coming to a stop in the center of the road, Trooper Rick Johnson said.

The SUV was traveling southbound at the time of the crash.

The pickup driver appeared to have lost control of the vehicle and was arrested for suspected DUI.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
