Troopers Investigate Two-Vehicle Crash In Omak

Omake, WA (February 5, 2022)- Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash in Omak on Friday evening.

The accident involved a pickup truck and a car parked with lights off on U.S. 97.

The truck driver, 29-year-old Benjamin Franklin, of Omak, was not injured in the crash.

The driver of the parked vehicle, 72-year-old Louis Monnin of Omak, was rushed to Mid Valley Hospital. 

Monnin’s passenger, 42-year-old Jerry Monnin of Okanogan, was flown in a helicopter to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.

The crash occurred just after 7 p.m.
