Renton, WA (November 30, 2021)- According to a tweet from the Washington State Department of Transportation, a vehicle accident closed the carpool lanes on I-405. The accident happened on Tuesday morning.
On I-405 northbound at SR 167 there is a collision blocking the HOV lane.

A KOMO traffic anchor has shared a photo on social media of two dark-colored pickup trucks at rest over the center divider. An investigation is now currently underway and it’s not yet clear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but two pedestrians can be seen standing outside the wrecked trucks.
