Driver Wanted For Felony Hit-And-Run In Fatal Spanaway Crash

Spanaway, WA (April 7, 2022)- Washington State Patrol said that a driver is wanted for felony hit-and-run following a deadly crash in Spanaway early Thursday morning.

Investigators are trying to identify the make and model of the fleeing driver’s vehicle, WSP said.

The crash left a 22-year-old Tacoma man dead after he was struck by two vehicles in the southbound lanes of State Route 7 at Field Road E.

After evaluation, the other driver remained at the scene and was cleared for impairment.
