Dump Truck Kills Motorcyclist Near Granite Falls

Granite Falls, WA (May 11, 2022) – On Wednesday, Washington State Patrol Trooper Jacob Kenneth, a man, lost his life following a collision with a dump truck near Granite Falls.

The man was riding a motorcycle behind the truck approaching a roundabout at Highway 92 and Jordan Road just before noon.

The motorcycle then ran into the truck as it slowed down, killing the motorcyclist.

Kenneth said the driver cooperated with investigators, and no criminal charges were expected.

The road remained closed for hours as the crash was being investigated.

The cause of the collision is still unknown.
