Multiple Vehicle Collision Backs Up Traffic In Bothell

Bothell, WA (April 21, 2022)- A multiple-vehicle collision backed up traffic on the northbound lanes of Interstate 405 near Bothell Thursday afternoon.

The backup was seven miles, Washington State Patrol said.

Six vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred around 2 p.m. Thursday.

The crash initially blocked all the northbound lanes of I-405 near State Route 527.

Two trucks later removed the wreckage, and the roadway reopened apart from the right lane, which remained closed.

Troopers were seen collecting information on the crash scene while traffic moved slowly.

Troopers urged drivers to take alternative routes or delay travel in the area.
