Suspected DUI Driver Arrested After Grays Harbor County Collision

GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, Wash., Aug. 12, 2022 — A driver was taken into custody following a collision in Grays Harbor County on Friday.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after causing a fatal collision on State Route 101 Milepost 92 at Ocean Beach Road.

Troopers are still investigating the crash involving two vehicles, Washington State Patrol Trooper Katherine Weatherwax said.

Weatherwax said the driver would face multiple counts of vehicular homicide if they were found to be driving under the influence after investigations.

Weatherwax said there was one confirmed fatality in the crash while two were in critical condition.

“Our hearts go out to all of those affected by this tragic incident,” Weatherwax said.
