Suspected Impaired Driver Faces Criminal Charges After Lewis County Crash

Lewis County, WA (July 31, 2022)- A suspected impaired driver, who caused a crash, will face possible criminal charges following a crash in Lewis County on Sunday night, Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said.

The driver was arrested for vehicular assault as detectives investigated the crash.

The crash occurred on State Route 7 at Milepost 7 in Lewis County.

Two tow trucks were called to the scene, but continued traffic delays were expected on the highway until the affected vehicles had been cleared.

Finn said the “serious injury crash” had all lanes blocked.

No ETA for opening, Finn said, urging motorists to expect delays or use alternate routes.
