Woman Dies In Poulsbo House Fire

Poulsbo, WA (March 20, 2022)- A woman lost her life in a fire outbreak in Poulsbo on Saturday afternoon, Poulsbo Fire Department said.

The incident happened at home near Kitsap Memorial State Park.

Firefighters arrived and found the house in the 28000 block off Falkner Road north of Poulsbo, fully engulfed in flames.

The woman was found dead inside the house.

Four other people initially believed to be trapped inside were later rescued, treated, and then released at the scene.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
